

When out with my friends during the summer, I discovered two things about myself. Firstly, that I am a terrible driver, and can’t even win a race in a pretend car at the amusement arcade and secondly, that I am pretty good at shooting people in the ‘Silent Scope’ game! Yup, gaming is everywhere, whether it be in amusement arcades, or simply playing the latest release on your XBOX or Wii. If you like playing games, why not take it a step further and get involved? The gaming industry is one of the biggest and most profitable industries in the world, so whether you’re into playing, designing or creating games, there is a role for you!
The Glasgow Metropolitan college offers a fantastic course in Wii game design (no, you’re not dreaming, there is such a thing!). You’ll design your own game, and learn all the basics! Sound good?
