Well, fellow Historians, I did a crash Higher in History during my 6th year at school, just to fill up my timetable. Well, I’m glad I did! After doing Modern Studies for 5 years, history was a welcome shock to my system! You might think I’m a bit sick in the head, but I loved learning about Nazi Germany, how Britain developed the National Health Service (NHS) and of course, my personal favourite, the women’s suffrage movement (think Mary Poppins and the ‘Votes for Women!’).
