We knew it was going to be a night to remember… and boy was it!?

It seemed to turn into a frenzy the minute Holyrood Secondary School came through the front door… carefully checked in and out by Richard Muir to kindly "volunteered" to allow us to come along and view the Radio Clyde in action.
It was perhaps the photographs of Suzie McGuire doing her endless work for Radio Clyde’s "Cash for Kids", or the shots of Jim Kerr of Simple Minds, an ex Holyrood pupil that set the pace for the evening. The tour behind the scenes into the operation areas were a joy to experience – has Romeo recovered from the onslaught of teenage girls? Has Derek Johnstone been revived from seeing 20 faces pressed against the glass of the sound-proof room when he was live on air presenting the Sports Roundup? I certainly hope so.
Although warned to within an inch of their lives that it was a "live" studio, it was fantastic to see the kids eager to be part of the experience. And as for the teachers enjoying the experience too, well money has exchanged hands so I’m afraid I can’t say too much about that! Sorry!
